Butterfly Ball
Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve’s eighth annual Butterfly Ball, presented by Frost Brown Todd, will be held on Friday, May 29th. The evening begins at 6 pm in the gorgeous Woodland Garden setting with open bars featuring specialty bourbons and signature drinks, live music, an exquisite farm-to-fork dinner by Volare, fantastic auction items, and a personalized butterfly experience. WAVE 3’s multiple Emmy-award winner, Shannon Cogan, will be our Host Extraordinaire, accompanied by entertainer-auctioneers Kevin Harned and Bill Menish. Join us for this unforgettable evening!
This special gala brings together friends and neighbors with the inspiring purpose of renovating the 1828 barn into a Visitor Center, grow Thrive Forest School scholarship funds for families in need, and ensure free access to nature for all. During this program you will learn about animals you hear about but may not know about. Some truths may actually surprise you! What are these animals’ habits and where do they live? Are they good to have around? Have they always lived in Kentucky? Are there many of these animals? Can I keep one I find? Best of all Brigette is going to bring a couple of animals so you can get a firsthand look!
